Home

Last weekend I went home. LMNO-P was giving a concert in Colorado and I told myself the next time they were singing I wanted to go. So we went. Not only did we go but my sister and mom decided that they would go, and then my brother decided that since we were there he would come. And then his girlfriend wanted to come out with him. And then all of my mom's sisters decided they wanted to join in the fun as well (one of them already lives there, but she was nice enough to host the rest). So it ended up being a family reunion in Fort Collins. Dan let us stay at his house and it was great. Our kids played really well together and Izzy still misses "those cousins". Dan had a BBQ in his backyard Saturday evening and LMNO-P sang. They even let Nate sing some songs with them. It was great to see all of my older brothers. On Sunday we met some friends at the park and had fun reconnecting and marveling at how big everyone's kids have gotten. On Monday we played and had another BBQ and did some sparklers with the little kids. We decided not to go to see the fireworks, so we just sent Cole with some friends who have boys his age. I'm just going to post of bunch of pictures from the trip. We took video of LMNO-P and I will post the links to that as soon as I (read Nate) finish posting them.

Izzy spent all day on Dan's swingset. She looks unhappy here, but that's just because I'm taking her picture. She was in heaven with all the extra people to push her to her hearts content

All the friends and kids. The wives were all taking pictures, I think that is generally the case

It was a wonderful weekend and it was really hard to come back. The kids have all asked if we can please move to Fort Collins. When Cole asked we asked him if he would miss his friends and he said "I'll make new friends".

Another thing that happened since I last posted was Jackson's 7th birthday. He was so excited to turn 7 and had his day planned for a very long time. We went to Boondocks and did the bumper boats and played a round of mini-golf. The bumper boats were by far the favorite and everyone got very wet. Cole was the clear winner or loser depending on how you look at it. He was the most soaked by the end.

So 7 things about Jackson at age 7

1. His favorite color is still green. Always has been
2. He loves ISpy type books. Grandma Nisey bought him some hidden picture books for his birthday and I don't think he's put them down since
3. He's a very picky eater. He won't eat anything green, except lime popsicles. He does keep telling me that one day he will like them, just not today.
4. He is very sensative.
5. He likes to please people. He always tries hard to obey and do what's right. Very rarely does he fail.
6. He loves school. Anything and everything about school, he loves it.
7. He is such a happy child. You can usually hear him singing to himself.

We love you Jackson

I didn't get to play a game with you or Nate or Shea... :(

I'd be thrilled if any of you decided to move to FC. Such a great place, even if you live here.
