Yep, my baby turned 4 years old yesterday. They day started with the traditional pancake shaped as her age. She didn't eat much of it because she wanted to get to her presents. She got lots of princess things, some new sidewalk chalk, a new rainbow dress with sparkly ballet flats to go with them, and some gardening supplies. Unfortunately the rest of the day didn't go so well for her. I set up a well child checkup for her months ago, not remembering that she would receive a vaccination. Her leg hurt the rest of the day and she was fairly miserable. But she was able to enjoy her dinner of make-your-own pizzas and the traditional rainbow cake

Nothing fancy, but she was excited when she saw it

It took her quite a few blows to get her candles out, but she eventually got them all.

So about Izzy at 4.
-She is very girly. She loves all things purple and pink and sparkly. Dresses are her preferred wardrobe.
-She loves flowers. She asks on a daily basis when she can plant some. We are giving her a part of the garden this year where she can plant some flowers and take care of them
-Although she is very girly, she can definately hold her own.
-She loves to help me around the house. She likes to fold the laundry, make meals with me and help me with the other house hold chores
-Her favorite T.V show is "Jake and the Neverland Pirates"
-She is very lovey. She has to give Nate a hug and kiss every day before he goes to work. She will often come up to me and throw her arms around my legs and say "I love you, Mommy"
-She has just figured out how to say her "L's" so now anything that has a L, or R, she says with a very defined L sound. It makes it hard to understand her at times.
We love our Izzy and we are so glad that she lives at our house

Love that wide eyed big smile picture. Your kids have the best eyes for a photographer.
Her morning hugs and kisses are one of my favorite things each day :)
She is such a sweetie! I love her in my class.
Happy (late) Birthday Izzy!!
