We're back...

Alright so my blogging is going about as well as any journaling I've ever tried to do. But I am repenting and I am going to be good again. The past month has been extremely busy. Between the Take Home Library at the elementary school, trying to figure out this whole Young Women's president thing, a husband who was never home, and 4 kids who were feeling a little restless, I am tired... but I was able to take a couple of vacations. Well one vacation and one visit. I say visit because we went to see my Dad and sister in Vegas over UEA weekend. It was just me and the kids, so that is why I do not call it a vacation. It was good to see them however. Although my Dad ended up in the hospital with kidney stones and various other medical maladies the day we left, so I'm not sure how enjoyable the visit was for him... The kids had fun playing in Shea's "little pool". This is really just a hot tube that they keep cool, because really, who needs a hot tub in Vegas.

Isabelle tried really hard to get along with her baby cousin Zoie. She would try to be nice and give the baby loves, and then the baby would do this

So she decided that she was going to stay way away from that mean baby
In Izzy's opinion, she may look cute, but this baby is not a nice one

The day we got back we went to Cornbelly's with some friends. The kids had a blast jumping on the air tramps, and sliding down the really fast slide. We went on a Hay ride and ate yummy Kettle Corn. Unfortunately, we had been traveling all day, so we were pretty tired and had to leave earlier then everyone so that we could go to bed

Nate and I left a couple days later for a vacation in Colorado for our 10th anniversary (yes it was in May, but so were lots of babies, so Grandma couldn't come til now). We staying at the Curtis Hotel in Denver for two night and then went back up to Fort Collins and played with friends. We were able to see a play at the Buell (The Drowsy Chaperone, very funny, I highly recommend it). We at very yummy food, so much so that by Sunday morning, I was still so full that I didn't eat unil about noon. So now were are back and I am trying to get ready for all the Halloween fun.

Well that is all for this edition. I have every intention to write this weekend and post cute Halloween pictures, so stay tuned...

Okay, I'll forgive you this time for not visiting us while in Ft. Collins, since it was a couple's anniversary trip. Merrit said that when she saw the Drowsy Chaperone (in NYC) it was so awful that they walked out.

That's too bad...The music wasn't great, but I laughed out loud quite a few times
